Kangaroo Club at Harpenden URC

Kangaroo club is our Toddler Group for 1 to 4 year olds, we meet in the Church weekly and have been doing so for over 40 years! 

Our group runs on Friday mornings from 10 - 11.15am during term time, there is a small fee per session for each family which includes refreshments for all. We have been told that we are a real asset to Harpenden, many of the mums, dads, childminders and grandparents who attend often say how they look forward to Friday mornings where they are able to go out and meet other people in the same situation as themselves. 

Everyone says how they feel they can relax and chat knowing their children are happy and playing in a safe environment. At the end of the sessions we have singing time, this activity is really very popular, the children - and adults - have great fun singing along to the various songs. There is also a simple craft activity on offer to the children every week. 

Kangaroo club is also a great way to get your child comfortable with the setting if you wish to send them to the Harpenden URC Preschool once they are old enough!
